Open House season has officially wrapped up in Cicero District 99 — and what a season it was!

From face-to-face time with teachers, school tours, and classroom visits to learning about academics, programs, and community resources, Open House is every family's golden ticket into their child's world at school. It's not just an event — it's a celebration of connection, belonging, and possibility. Truly, it's a house party!

Each school brought its own unique flavor — snow cone trucks, free haircuts, backpack giveaways, and more. Thousands of families filled the halls, stepped into classrooms, and shook hands with the educators who pour into their children every day. From Pre-K through 8th grade, Open Houses sent a clear message: school matters, and kids matter.
